Burberry Trench coat

CLOAKED IN BURBERRY

Synonymous with timeless pieces every woman should own, and reinvented every Fall season, Thomas Burberry the Founder and designer of the Trench coat never intended or thought his design would be such a classic design hanging in every fashionable woman's closet.

Thomas Burberry was commissioned by the War office in 1914 to adapt an officers coat to suit all weather conditions during WWI. The coat was durable, water resistant, and light. Soon after lined with the infamous "Burberry Check" pattern, the coat caught the eyes of the fashion industry and became what it is today.

Midnight Snack

Every shoot has some crazy story with it.
In this case, our first location was raided by stupid cops. Ha.
So we ended up finding a radical spot to shoot.( better than the first)

Everything happens for a reason. :)

My concept was based around midnight fashion..
All the hazy lights after a long night of
partying or staying out late(whichever you prefer:)

Photographer: Vick Doultani, I can honestly say was the only person who could have produced this shoot for me. Every photographer I talk to is amazed he got these shots. They also ask how he photoshopped the lights in.... aha Which he didn't, it is all raw. :)

What a duo these girls made up. Not to mention their outfits rocked!!

I love these girls. It was a riot working with both of them!!

Wardrobe: Was all provided by Chalk Garden/JMR

Creative Director/Stylist: Me

*Shot almost a year ago for the fall issue of UGLY Mag.

Fashion Storm

A shoot to definitely remember.

This shoot was planned a month in advance in St.George. Day of, we are headed to pick up supplies, and
the truck breaks down. Soon after we hear that another driver's vehicle can't make it down the street.
HA. Wow...in the moment it was one big head ache.
I had to come up with a completely different concept in 12 hours.
This is the revamped version of the shoot. It turned out pretty cool I think.
Everyone who participated in this shoot was an incredible trooper.

Sometimes it just happens. But it went really well in the end.

Photographer: Mike Kunde, whom I absolutely adore. It's such a pleasure to work with
someone who is up for any challenge and just goes with the flow.

Hair/Makeup: Heggy Gonzalez. For this shoot she kind of had a free hand for this. Because the shoot was completely changed, we kind of had to go with the flow for each look. She did incredible. The makeup and hair was flawless.

Model: Keely King. This girl was such a trooper sitting/standing and going into positions quite uncomfortable for several hours. She was very classy and such a great model and sweet human being. I loved working with her.

Crowns: Melanie Mclaws. She hand-crafted the crowns for me. She is such a talented lady. I would love for her to do more!! She has such a keen eye for amazing creations. Melanie made the crowns for my Masonic shoot as well. If you haven't checked it out GO do that now! She is amazing.

All clothes and accessories were provided by MISC. Boutique(vintage). Located in downtown Salt Lake City
200 east and 300 south. The great thing about Missy(owner)'s boutique, is these pieces are found across the nation and placed in her shop. Every piece is unique to her style. I love it. On top of her pieces being super original, they are extraordinarily affordable. Love this woman, boutique and her unique style.

[muhl-ti-kuhl-er]

This is a shoot I did for the UGLY Spring Issue coming out. I was their Fashion Editor, but am no longer working with them. I was the creative director of the shoot. Organizing the photographer who best fit my vision. I came up with the looks I wanted for the "trend" shoot. I create the hair/makeup trend shoots by what trends I feel are in and what trends I feel you can be ahead in. One being...a shaved head ;) The colors in this shoot were amazing!! The team I worked with was incredible. I adore Heather( model) so much. She is a doll!!

Photographer: Jessica Janae, who I absolutely am obsessed with right now. This girl has something goin on. Her eye has real talent. I am excited to see where she will go in the future.

Make up: Missy Scarbrough, my go to girl these days. Can't live without her.

Model: Heather Marie Lewin, a girl you would die for. This girls features are eatable. I loved working with her. An incredible model and a smile to die for. :) Love you!

I love you girls. Thank you so much for coming on the voyage with me. Hope to see you soon.

Enjoy

Bipolar Fashion

A shoot inspired by the tangled personalities and desires of a woman so vulnerable it sometimes hurts to watch.

Lula Mae and Holly Golightly
(Breakfast at Tiffany's)
Combining the two personalities of one woman into a wardrobe.

Photographer: Keith Bryce. Working with Keith was such a pleasure. The entire shoot you are laughing so hard you can't breath. Love him and his work!!!

Model: Blake Giles. A model who is up for any challenge and has one of the oldest souls I have ever encountered. Love this woman and love working with her.

Hair: Heggy Gonzalez. This woman is real talent. Incredibly genuine. Never complains and is fiercely classy.

Make up: Missy Scarbrough. I can't do shoots without this woman. I LOVE her so freaking much. Also, another incredible, real talent.

All my shoots have a purpose and story behind them. Most very emotional. Pushing people to do better and to allow themselves to be more vulnerable to real living.
LIVE.

Flash Backs

With the change in season upon us, I can't help but reflect on my first ever directed shoot(aside from my modeling)

This shoot is so dear to me. It was based on Womens Rights. I am very passionate about equality in all forms. Women have been fighting for their rights for a long time.

The definition of liberty is," freedom from arbitrary or despotic government or control."
Any form of abusive control against women is gross. Human beings are meant to be free.
"God" was the greatest artist of us all. I feel that in no way would he limit the ability of a woman, or any human for that matter. Any form of digression is that of negative energy.
Let's be free.

Photography by Carolee Beckham
One of the greatest photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She helped to launch my career in the fashion field, by supporting my vision. You describe what you want and she will give you even more. :)

Styling done by me and the clothes were provided by MISC Boutique on 3rd s and 2nd e.
