The High Heel

 EVERY INCH COUNTS

The High Heel has history in almost every culture around the world and different influences that make it almost impossible to pin point its exact creation. The earliest known heel comes from Hellenic times, but the strongest development of them didn't come until 1580 in Italy.

The Romans would wear platformed sandals to avoid mud and garbage, Geishas in Japan had their special wedge like shoes for preforming and avoiding their kimonos getting dirty, and the Europeans using them for style and divine class. The heel has served many different purposes throughout time and today defines personal style.
